The BAT TRAC is the same product for both sports.
This will depend on your current level of experience and what you are trying to accomplish. We have received reports of players seeing immediate results, but results may vary. Learning new motor patterns (ingraining new muscle memory), is not an easy task. We encourage you to use the BAT TRAC with ALL of your hitting workouts and drills. Especially live pitching. The more you use the BAT TRAC, the better your swing will become. You can find our training videos on Youtube @BATRAC
