It All Started With My Daughter’s Swing
One evening, my daughter came to me and said,
“Dad, it’s embarrassing sitting on the bench. I don't want to sit on the bench next year.”
She wasn’t asking for sympathy—she was asking for a chance.
A chance to earn her spot. To be part of the team. To contribute. On her championship-level high school team.
As a father, that moment hit me hard. I saw it in her eyes.
She had the determination. She had the work ethic.
But she didn't have the how.
Like so many young hitters, she struggled with:
- Dropping her hands and barrel
- A long, looping swing path
- Inconsistent contact and reduced power
I asked myself:
How can I shorten her swing, so she isn't losing the barrel, and keep the barrel in a good position to hit?
That moment set everything in motion.
A Breakthrough That Changed Everything
After months of trial & error, and late nights, I created the first version of what would become BAT TRAC®.
What happened next was remarkable:

She had never talked about playing in college, but today, she’s continuing her journey at a local junior college. 🎓
